The best distribution of 2020, in my experience is Arch Linux. This is a change from my choice of the best distribution of 2019 when I chose openSUSE Tumbleweed, with Arch as a close second. openSUSE Tumbleweed retains all of its strengths in the areas of system design and system tools, as always, but was disappointingly unreliable at times in 2020.
